Student workbook B is designed to be used in conjunction with the Teacher’s Manual for Intensive Reading Programs for Secondary Students. The manual (which includes both Program A and B) describes the student for whom Program B is designed and outlines the method and teaching strategies appropriate to students at this level.
This workbook is part of the Intensive Reading Program B. This program is a 15 week intensive reading course designed for the secondary student with severe reading problems, i.e. Reading Age below 8.6 years. Students would typically be in low ability range. Units 1-6 teach sight vocabulary from combined subject areas, and the remaining units cover reading rules. Suitable for Years 7-10.
